Description

P494A0021300A00 – EMERSON ASCO – Series 494 Reed Sensor

When used with pneumatic cylinders, these magnetic reed switches are mounted on cylinder tubes to help detect the presence of a magnetic field generated by the magnet on the cylinder piston. This then attracts the metal reeds together, signalling the electric circuits to switch on the magnetic sensor.
